LWx is owned by Laura and Connor Willcox, just two high school sweethearts with a dream!
LWx Custom Hats puts the power of creativity in the palm of your hand! We can help our clients build the hat of their dreams, give new life to a hat, or host an experience like no other.
Customization stems from hundreds of choices among fabrics, feathers, crystals, to items you didn't even know you wanted on a hat. As true artists we are constantly learning and coming up with more ways to design our hats and bring our clients pride in their piece.
LWx Custom Hats aims to curate luxury that is affordable. No product will ever be disingenuous, and our materials are always the real thing. If we wouldn't put the hat on the head of a loved one, we won't put it on yours either.

Our love for western and rodeo lifestyle is shown through donations from every purchase to the Justin Boots Cowboy Crisis Fund. A fund that we've seen in action, and one that is constantly putting our cowboys and cowgirls, and their families, first.
About Laura Willcox

My name is Laura Willcox and I am the heart behind the brand, LWx.
Early on as a sports medicine professional I stepped into the rodeo world by providing sports medicine services during performances to competitors. I did well and was invited to an annual conference with my colleagues, in you guessed it, Las Vegas. In true rodeo style it was hosted in line with the National Finals Rodeo in 2018. From there an obsession with having the right hat for each outfit began@ After a few years, my husband put his "foot down" and declared I was spending too much on hats.

On my 30th Birthday, while in Costa Rica, I decided I was born for something more than being a professional Athletic Trainer, and that I wanted to be my own boss, and a business owner. After several ideas of what I could go into- the thought of Rodeo and my hats came back to me. I sought to know everything I could about western hats and told myself, If I was going to own a Hat Company or Hat Store I needed to know how to make hats from "the ground-up". And thus LWx Custom Hats was born, 16 days after my 30th Birthday.
LWx started with the dream of designing custom hats for fans of the western lifestyle around the nation. LWx Custom Hats LLC was officially born in February of 2023. There's no telling where this brand will go, our dreams are limitless!
